FCA Web-Based Training

Developer and Production Artist

Since 2007 I have developed and launched hundreds of training courses to dealership networks around the world. My clients include Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), Ford Motor Company, Mazda, Toyota, General Motors and Volkswagen/Audi.

As a developer and production artist, it is my responsibility to design and animate each module of the course, program any needed functionality, and finally deploy the course to the SCORM-based LMS for distribution to dealerships.

Below is a selection of courses I have worked on since 2013 when I became a lead course developer for FCA. These courses usually take end users around 1-2 hour to complete, but I have recorded a selection of scenes to video for brevity and compatibility.

Star Parts

Star Parts is FCA's application for dealers to locate and purchase parts. In 2016 they launched a new version of the tool, and we put together a 10-language course package to deploy to the dealership network.

I was the senior developer of the project and I built the English course. Then I assembled the assets for the remaining languages and helped organize the effort with the larger development team.

Dodge Charger SRT Product Launch

When Dodge launched the Charger Hellcat with 707 horsepower from a supercharged V8, I insisted that in order to properly develop the course, I needed to capture the spirit and essense of the vehicle. I explained to the team that I could do this by testing one for a week in the mountains near my home in Washington. Sadly, no vehicle was available for me to borrow at the time, but the course launched succesfully regardless.
